ABOUT THE BOOK

Camilla Lagesen was born in Norway and currently lives in Oslo. She is passionated about life, people, travel and most of all, she is passionated about her own personal development.

In 2015, @39 years old, she resigned from her corporate job, sold her apartment, her car and all of her belongings. Not because she was a billionaire, but because she wanted to know if there was more to life, than what she had already experienced.

"Of all the people I know, you are the last person I would have ever guessed would do something like this", someone said to her.

And that was true. Camilla was dependant on life being predictable, she strived for perfection. And that was how she liked it. Until the day she heard her self think; "Is this it? Is this what I am going to do for the rest of my life?”.

These two questions sent her on a journey, a journey she was not fully prepared for.

Little did she know that when she

challenged life in that way, life had powerful ways to show her what life was all about.

Throughout her journey, she regretted her choice many times, but now, almost five years later, she knows that it was, and still is, worth every minute of it. Every minute of her life.

There is no quick fix when it comes to personal development. No five, or ten step program, that will magically fix, what is not broken about you, or your life. There are thousands, if not millions of books out there, that will tell you there is a quick fix, this book won’t.

Let's face it, life is not easy, for no one, but it is what it is. If you want to make the best out of life, you have to do the work. From the time you get up in the morning, to the time you go to bed. I promise you, once you get started, it will be worth it, and it will get easier (just give it a few years...😉).

I hope this book will make you laugh, make you think, make you remember and maybe it will move

you, in one way, or another.

This book is not for everyone, and this book is not perfect, neither am I. If you do decide to read the

book, know that you will never go back to who it is you are in this moment. Consider yourself

warned 😉

EXCERPT FROM THE BOOK

"There was no question about it, my life had changed. But I also noticed that my behaviour hadn't changed. The same people (different faces), and the same situations kept coming in to my life, lately more frequently, as if my life was on repeat.

With only a few days left in Port Douglas, I was going for a walk on the beach. It was 10am, and the beach was almost empty. It was already hot and humid, but because of a nice breeze it was bearable.

The last few days I had been thinking more than usual. I had been waiting for answers, and I was getting impatient. It had been almost four months since I turned my life up-side-down. And for what, I was starting to wonder?

The more I thought about it, the more frustrated I got. I felt resentful. Why had I done all of this? Who in their right mind would resign from their job, sell their apartment and all of their belongings? For what? Why had life tricked me in to doing that, if there was no other meaning to life?

I mentally told life to go to hell, and I decided that when I got back to Norway, I would go back to "normal". This had been a waste of time, and I felt stupid for having been fooled by life. Getting answers to who I am, and the meaning of life was just stupid.

Me and my anger had been walking for only a few minutes, and what happened next, changed my life forever..."
